VASHI

Vashi is the first and by far the most developed node of Navi Mumbai. The fact that it is centrally located has been a great boon for vashi and its surrounding areas. From a quiet residential destination, Vashi has now transformed into the place to be in Navi Mumbai, complete with Malls, hotels, commercial places and everything else that a node requires.

Vashi is the oldest nodes of Navi Mumbai. Its development actually started with the contruction of the Vashi-Mankhurd creek bridge that helped connecting to greater Mumbai. Even in that time, the area of sector-17 was a buzzing business place. All these factors eventually gave rise to more residential demand. It was also the first place in Navi Mumbai to witness a planned development. The last decade or so has seen Vashi grow in leaps and bounds. Area around the Vashi station has seen lots of malls, IT parks and hotels coming up. All these factors have been crucial in the rising demand for property in this place. Though the area is almost on verge of saturation and not many new projects are happening bthere, demand for resale houses are tremendous. Also due to the rising demand, nearby places like Sanpada, Ghansoli, kopar Khairane also started getting noticed.

Vashi also plays home to some of the finest hotels. There is Tunga Residency and Four Points, located just around the station. Fortune Exotica is located on the Palm Beach road end. Malls and recreational places are in abundance in Vashi. There are in all Five major malls in Vashi, with the likes of Raghuleela, inorbit and Center One situated just around the Vashi station.
