Notandas Realty to invest ₹100 crore in Bandra West redevelopment

Notandas Realty has signed an agreement to redevelop Mon Bijou in Bandra West, adding another luxury residential project to the redevelopment pipeline of one of Mumbai’s most valuable housing markets.

The developer plans to invest approximately ₹100 crore in the project.

Mon Bijou occupies a plot measuring around 788 sq. metres and is located off Carter Road in Bandra West. The redevelopment is expected to comprise a residential tower with approximately 4,914 sq. metres of construction area.

The new development is planned around luxury residences supported by lifestyle amenities.

The project comes at a time when redevelopment activity across Bandra West is gaining momentum. Limited availability of vacant land means older residential properties and housing societies are increasingly becoming the primary source of new housing supply in the neighbourhood.

Locations around Carter Road are particularly attractive for redevelopment because of their established residential character, proximity to the coastline and strong demand for premium homes.

For developers, redevelopment provides an opportunity to introduce modern residential inventory into neighbourhoods where outright acquisition of large vacant land parcels is increasingly difficult.
