Supreme Universal Secures 1-Acre Bandra West Redevelopment

Supreme Universal has secured development rights for a prime one-acre land parcel off Carter Road in Bandra West, adding another major redevelopment opportunity to Mumbai’s luxury residential pipeline.
The sea-facing parcel includes two bungalows acquired earlier, while residents of the surrounding housing society have now been brought on board to expand the redevelopment.
The developer plans to invest approximately ₹1,000 crore in creating a luxury residential project on the site.
Consent from the housing society and its residents has been secured, and the developer will now proceed with the required approvals. Construction is expected to commence within the next two quarters, with completion estimated around three-and-a-half years after work begins.
The proposed residences are expected to emphasise space, privacy and sea views, with private sea-facing terraces planned for homes and a large terrace garden overlooking the coastline.
The transaction is significant because sizeable redevelopment parcels close to the Bandra coastline are increasingly difficult to assemble.
With limited vacant land available in Bandra West, redevelopment continues to be one of the primary routes through which developers can introduce new luxury housing inventory into the neighbourhood.
Sandeep Sadh’s Take:
“A one-acre sea-facing parcel in Bandra West is extremely difficult to replicate. Redevelopment opportunities of this scale can create exceptional luxury products because location and scarcity are already working in their favour.”
